Product Description
Modern advanced high performance renderer for 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and other platforms.
Corona Renderer delivers high quality, physically-based shading in production rendering. All its features are tightly integrated into Autodesk 3ds Max.
Key Features:
- Ease of Use - Render setup is really as simple as pressing “Render”. Most new users will learn Corona in just one day.
- Rendering Quality - Corona Renderer delivers predictable, reliable, and physically plausible results with no compromises in quality.
- Speed & Interactivity - Corona Renderer delivers final results as fast as possible and react to the user’s actions in a split second.
- Affordability - As a young company, Corona has the luxury of being able to do things differently right from the start.
- Powerful Workflow Tools - Extensive Post–Processing, inside the VFB
- Flexibility - Corona supports numerous reality hacks which allow you to get exactly the effect you desire.
- Lights - The whole process of creating lights is designed to give artists complete control over their scene, while being fast and intuitive.
- Materials - Corona's materials is to make them physically based, yet intuitive, flexible, and easy to set up
- Distributed Rendering - Rendering with multiple computers at once is essential for any real production. Corona facilitates this in multiple ways
- Proudly CPU Based - Corona Renderer does not need any special hardware to run. It uses the CPU and you can run it on any processor from Intel or AMD released in the past decade
Annual Subscription Includes:
- Unlimited access to all major, monthly, and daily experimental builds
- Requires 64-bit 3ds Max 2014-2022+, and supported copy of Cinema 4D
- One floating or locked workstation license (works also as a render node)
Hardware Requirements
- Installer contains two Corona versions: standard and legacy. It will automatically choose the correct version during installation.
- The standard version uses the SSE4.1 instruction set to achieve maximum speed on modern CPUs (SSE4.1 has been available since Intel i3/i5/i7 and AMD Bulldozer architectures).
- The legacy version should run on all CPUs of the last decade, but it is about 20% slower.
- NOTE: From Corona Renderer 2 onward, the legacy version will no longer be offered, and you will need a CPU that supports the SSE4.1 instruction set (that is, any processor from within the last 10 years). Here is a list of compatible CPUs. We will continue to support running the Licensing Server on legacy CPUs, but this will be only the Licensing Server (the computer won’t be able to be used for rendering).
- There are no further specific hardware requirements.
